Grosvenor reached adulthood this week and now, at the grand old age of 18, we’re just home from celebrating with cups of tea, sandwiches and a few cream scones… teenagers these days…eh? It makes those founder members still in the choir, feel even better when they realise that the choir’s youngest members weren’t yet born when they attended their first Grosvenor practice back in 1993! 🙂

The group kicked of this season’s engagements rather fittingly with a concert at St John’s Church of Ireland where we’ve held choir practices from almost the beginning.

Some stunning new pieces received their first public airings and new choir members had their baptisms of fire, but it was all good!

Thanks as ever to the members of the church who provided another fantastic supper and to all of you were able to be there tonight.
