It’s bit of a corny phrase, which I’ve seen on company vehicles driving around the roads but it got me thinking about our choir…

Last night we were singing in the Ulster Hall with the Ulster Orchestra to an audience of 1000 people for a programme due to be broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster in the run up to Christmas. On Sunday we were singing to a packed congregation in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Lights to Remember service. This weekend, members of the choir will be singing carols in a nursing home in Belfast, and at a Christmas dinner for old people in Holywood…

Being part of this choir throws up so many random opportunities, but whether you’re singing to 10 people or a 1000 people, it still gives you a buzz when your  performance raises a smile, conjures up memories or simply brings a bit of enjoyment in the midst of hectic everyday life!
