The choir agm is upon us once again, meaning our singing year is almost over once again – time flies as ever!
The last couple of months have been great in the choir. ‘In the Beginning’ was a fantastic success, and again we have to thank all those were there to support us and our chosen charity of Marie Curie – a packed audience filled Holywood Parish.
Mark Chambers was a fantastic soloist with a voice and sound that were out of this world – i hope we get to work with him again sometime, and there were many great reports from the audience too.
Our final gig of the year was a little bank holiday singing for the shoppers at the Junction One Outlet Centre in Antrim. The rain held off just long enough to allow many people to sit down and listen as we sang a mixture of irish traditional pieces to light entertainment and the likes. It was a nice and relaxed atmosphere, and all in all it was a great way to round off the year.
