Last week the lights went out…this week we raised the roof…next week we’re broadcasting live to the nation!
Just your average December packed full of engagements with Grosvenor…
Last week saw us singing in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church, Bangor. As part of an eclectic programme organised by Feherty Travel, we were joined by talented young people from other local schools, and a fantastic £2400 was raised from a very generous audience and divided between three worthy charities.
St Peter’s on the Antrim Road, Belfast was the venue for this year’s annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols last night. Our favourite gig of the year created a buzz with choir judging by the feedback at the annual post-service Chinese – we hope you felt the same if you were there! A packed church, a full choir and Mr SGH at his own organ came together to create another very special carol service with lots of very special moments. We will let you know on the main site once the collection total is counted.
Next week, we’re hitting the airwaves… Tune in to Radio Ulster on Monday evening (19th) Between 8-10pm or again on Christmas Eve from 6pm as we take part in BBC Sing Carols live from the Assembly Buildings at The Spires, Belfast
